Today a very promisimg isotope, used in Lutetium-177 PSMA therapy, or Lutetium-177 prostatespecific membrane antigen therapy, a treatment for men with advanced prostate cancer.
Despite its limited availability, another promising isotope. Several clinical trials have been completed, demonstrating the effectiveness of 225Ac in targeted alpha therapy. Complexes labeled with 225Ac have been tested to target various types of cancer, including leukemia, prostate carcinoma, and breast carcinoma in humans.
